Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will be a crucial part of our marketing team. You will develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy for the Suffield community, aiming to enhance our brand, drive customer engagement, and cultivate relationships with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a Comprehensive Social Media Strategy: Create, document and present a social media plan that aligns with overall business objectives.

- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage discussions across all social channels.

- Brand Consistency: Maintain Amazon’s tone and messaging across all platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the public relations, marketing, and product teams to ensure campaign alignment and maximize outreach.
- Campaign Execution: Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions in alignment with product launches and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and marketing savvy. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, particularly in managing brands on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, analytics tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with an ability to create compelling narratives.
- Experience in campaign management and performance tracking.
